COUNTRY MANAGER DACH (M/W/D)

  • Dr. Barbara Sturm is a fast growing independent beauty brand and has built up an excellent worldwide reputation. We are quickly becoming one of the most recognized beauty brands in the world. Due to the fast growth, we are looking for a Country Manager who takes care of the Austrian, German and Swiss market supporting our Head of BDM with all relationship building of retail partners in those locations.

ROLE

  • As a (Junior) Country Manager for Dr. Barbara Sturm you will be expected to achieve bold sales targets and open up new distribution channels, while maintaining the brand’s prestigious image in the market. You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day management and mentoring of the sales team within the field and will be expected to build a passionate team which services our partners at the highest level.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Develop existing business within your area and analyze overall retailer performance by managing the P&L for the region.
  • Manage day to day operations and build strong relationships with buyers in order to achieve full potential with wholesale partners.
  • Manage sales staff.
  • Ensure clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Seek and identify opportunities to up sell and link-sell in order to develop your territory.
  • Expected to make regular visits to stores and retailers.
  • Organization of promotional events in cooperation with our Marketing-Team.
  • Update retailers in designated territory with NPD by season.
  • Review assortments on a monthly basis and ensure orders are being fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, lead, manage and motivate sales performers in UK in order to achieve monthly retail targets.

MARKETING COORDINATOR (M/W/D)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for supporting the Marketing function. Reporting into the Marketing Manager and external CMO, the Marketing Assistant will ensure that all administrative aspects of the department are fully managed. A meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills with a sense of urgency are crucial for this role. Collaborating internally and externally in day-to-day operations with regards to all marketing, PR, creative and digital aspects of the Dr. Barbara Sturm brand, the Marketing Assistant will be a strong brand ambassador, supporting all communications initiatives.

JOB DUTIES

  • Support the Marketing Manager and external CMO with all departmental duties needed for a highly effective running of the department.
  • Manage all sample and product requests for communications initiatives including all retailers, ensure approvals and timings are documented and audited.
  • Ensure the stock control of all samples are recorded and sent in timely manner with management of stock quantity and re-orders.
  • Follow up on all strategic implementation of wholesale marketing activity including events support, gifting, online web assets, CRM and all press and marketing initiatives, ensuring to report and share with all key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with numerous external stakeholders to organize events, sponsorship opportunities and any other marketing related initiatives.
  • Ensure all PR agencies, content creation agencies and online wholesale partners have all the necessary and approved assets to ensure global brand representation of the Dr. Barbara Sturm brand guidelines and visual standards are being adhered to.
  • Maintain updates and stock levels of all digital and printed materials to ensure that all key updates are managed.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to communicate changes to product launch dates, working closely with the production team and updating the Marketing Calendar to reflect any updates.
  • Liaise with the design team to brief and manage digital or printed marketing and communication collateral. E.g. EDM’s, product sheets, brochures and flyers etc.
  • Ensure that the digital team have all necessary assets for all brand updates, product launches and relevant images uploads in the correct formats.
  • Be the hub between creative, digital, retailers and all key stakeholders and ensure a strong flow of communication.
  • Be the guardian of brand visual presentation across all communication channels, in accordance with brand guidelines, liaising with marketing and creative to ensure Global brand guidelines and visual standards are being adhered.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have minimum 1-2 years’ experience in luxury or beauty industry.
  • Must have marketing and PR background.
  • Experience of managing agencies preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a highly efficient, responsive manner combined with a sense of urgency.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate clearly and effectively, externally and internally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task and problem solve.
  • A proactive self-starter, who is results-oriented, with an entrepreneurial attitude.

  • Responsible for managing the Marketing and Communications of the BARBARA STURM BRAND. Reporting into the senior level teams, the Marketing and Communications Manager will support business strategy, execute marketing planning, manage global PR agencies, collaborate with the Wholesale teams, the Community Manager and Ecommerce functions to ensure that the brand has a fully integrated 360 omni-channel approach with cohesive and consistent luxury messaging.

JOB DUTIES

  • Lead execution of marketing calendar to support the product launches and ensure that the critical path of each campaign is managed well.
  • Support the Wholesale teams and drive marketing initiative with all clients to ensure that the brand and profile is supported and
  • Support and guide PR agencies globally to ensure that communications objectives are met and tailored to local market.

  • Continuous tracking of current trends with the aim of generating creative ideas for new innovative content on all social media platforms, training platforms, newsletter send-outs and PR purposes by Dr. Barbara Sturm.
  • Development and management of the daily content plan and responsibility to ensure that the curated content corresponds to our brand, both visually and editorially.
  • You play an important role in the video and image production. You will be responsible for the whole process, from the idea generation up to the final sharing of the content.
  • During the production process you will be responsible for the content and linguistic design (writing the storyboard, creating the moodboard, determining the recording location, preparation of the required props).

WHO YOU ARE
