  • Reports to: Head of Key Account / Business Development Manager / Sales Team
  • Main Purpose:As a Sales Assistant your role is to support the Business Development & Sales team with the Dr. Barbara Sturm wholesale accounts and to provide clients accurate, professional and efficient service


  • Support Business Development & Sales Team in general administrative duties where necessary, for example preparing new product Emails to retailers, updating system or filling in sales templates
  • - Create and process sales reports and process invoices
  • Manage logistics for orders from Dr. Barbara Sturm retailers
  • Proactively answer queries from wholesale partners
  • Be involved in stock control from customers, making sure that every retailer has enough samples and testers


  • 1-2 years of experience in the fashion or beauty industry. Luxury experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities

  • Responsible for managing the Barbara Sturm websites. Reporting into the senior level teams, the Ecommerce Manager will manage all aspects of the ecommerce site, ensuring commercial objectives are met, whilst maintaining the brand’s global luxury image through creative visual. Working alongside the senior teams, the Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the website experience is luxurious and world-class. All product uploads must be launched in a timely manner, in line with the marketing calendar, supported by key banner updates, email marketing programmes, partnership initiatives and performance marketing plans for a digitally cohesive brand representation to achieve ambitious growth plans. Must be able to work alongside key stakeholders, both internally and externally for a streamlined and effective front and back end operations of the ecommerce function, ensuring that all stock is accurately managed online, orders are fulfilled and packed to the highest standard and the digital customer experience is second to none.


  • Lead the ecommerce function of Barbara Sturm. Be the key stakeholder for all online updates, ecommerce process and digital experience
  • Be the lead implementer for web agency management and web updates
  • Work closely with product teams, marketing and creative teams to ensure all assets received in time for product launch
  • Ensure to manage product stock delivery process for any new product launches online and work closely with all depts. to ensure that any launches are managed accurately in timely manner
  • Lead the Email marketing and CRM program with Special Relations and key internal stakeholders and present all reporting for an agile strategic approach
  • Plan and develop effective performance marketing strategies including SEO, PPC and affiliate marketing to ensure high ROI to meet relevant business objectives
  • Control the packaging and shipping agreements for cost-effectivity
  • Manage all timeframe of postage and packaging needs to ensure continual rotation of sufficient supplies are on hand at all times
  • Ensure that all stock management of product and packaging is fully stocked with ability to forecast and pre-empt
  • Manage and ensure all ecommerce orders efficiently to highest standard of luxury packaging
  • Keep abreast of digital customer trends, key competitor digital activity in retail and luxury service sectors
  • Be the guardian of brand visual presentation online, in accordance with brand guidelines, liaising with marketing and creative to ensure Global brand guidelines and visual standards are being adhered to
  • Support Customer Services and respond efficiently as a Barbara Sturm brand ambassador and ensure that the ecommerce and digital experience provides the highest level of luxury service at all times


  • Must have minimum 5 years experience in luxury or beauty industry
  • Must have ecommerce background
  • Experience of managing agencies preferred
  • Magento / Shopware experience preferred
  • ERP management system experience ideal
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a highly efficient, responsive manner combined with a sense of urgency
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate clearly and effectively, externally and internally
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi task and problem solve

  • CLIENT DATABASE MANAGEMENT, Managing extensive client database, receiving information from several different team members in different formats
  • CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, Liaising with notable clients on email and whatsapp, following up on their placed orders / gifts to ensure all well received and answer any questions they may have Needs to be charming, reactive and proactive with this
  • TRAVEL ASSISTANCE, Extensive travel booking: flights (multi-city), hotels, cars
  • PROJEKT DEVELOPMENT, Assisting to oversee development of special projects, liaising with Dusseldorf team to ensure that
  • INVOICING, Ensuring correct invoices are raised in a timely manner by other team member Emailing these out and tracking which have been paid / are outstanding - chasing the outstanding
  • ADMIN, Processing travel expenses for Founder and her travelling assistant
  • Assisting with setting up conference calls, ad hoc general support

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Dr Barbara Sturm Molecular Cosmetics ensuring an outstanding service is provided for our customers with every contact, in all forms of communication (current contact channels include; telephone and email)
  • Have excellent knowledge of the products and services offered as well as our retail partners
  • Take a proactive approach, anticipating and preventing any barriers to a totally seamless customer experience, by going above and beyond
    Actively promote excellence in customer service:
  • Assist customers with product queries
  • Communicate promptly any information to customers about their orders
  • Assist customers with any issues with regards to their orders via emails or by phone
